2 weeks from today the nation will turn a corner!  And with the Senate being 50/50, there's finally a chance for some things to get done that doesn't just benefit the top 1%.

One would hope she could have any job in the world right now. She's earned it.

Maybe with Mitch out of the driver's seat, Joe's rep of being good at the Senate will actually mean something.

McDonald Trumpo is the main reason for the double loss. He's toxic and Pence should use his opportunity today to say as much but of course, he won't. Mother wouldn't allow it. Shame on the failed GOP for being loyal to a criminal over the people, especially during a deadly pandemic.

Love also to Stacey Abrams.

I've merged the election/new administration threads into this one thread.

Totally agree - I hope all of the southern states look to her model to help bring
out the vote.

I hope and pray they do NOT make her head of the DLC (Democratic Leadership Council) - it would seemingly be a great honor, but lately it seems a thankless, cursed position.

When was the last time an AG announcement made me smile? Very good
news, and I think he's qualified for the job.

Trump apparently wants to fly to Scotland on the 19th to play golf and avoid the inauguration. The country is under lockdown, so that won't be happening.

Nicola Strugeon has already said she does not consider playing golf
essential & so would not be allowing him into the country

Scotland knows better than to let the Covid Kid in. No thanks. Golf in Florida with the Proud Boys, dummy.
