"Madame Speaker, Madame Vice President. No president has ever said those words from this podium, no president has ever said those words. And it's about time.”

President Biden's opening remarks during his first address to Congress on the eve of his 100 days in office.

And for the 5th year in a row, no one with balls sat behind the President.  ;)

I wouldn't say that guys.....

Rep. Pelosi had Dump's balls for 2 years after she berated him at the White House.  :-)

An article in THE HILL has Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyoming) defending her "fist-bump" with the President last night with the statement: "We're not sworn enemies.  We're Americans."

I am not a fan of Cheney's very conservative politics, but this statement of hers touched me.  What a shame she had to even make such a statement in response to her unhinged, outraged Republican colleagues.

My favorite indication there is a change in life due to the presidency was last week during a call with a friend he said, "Did you hear what Biden did yesterday?" and I replied, "No". My friend said, "Isn't is nice not having to keep daily tabs on politics because there is a criminal in the White House?"

I have enjoyed assuming things are getting done and seeing results as appose to closely monitoring statements that just don't end up being true.

Beware Liz Cheney and her (possibly mutant ability) to totally render her occasional acts of humanity with some typical right wing bull shit that will make you want to scream at the top of your lungs.

David,

I totally agree!  For me, it's just "even a broken clock is right twice a day" type of moment.

Regardless of anything else, Cheney deserves credit for maintaining her principled stand on Trump.  She's very likely going to lose her job over it.
