As I've stated in other posts I haven't read much of Morrison's work. I've read the WE3, New X-Men run, and I'm currently reading 7 Soldiers (The concept is nice but the execution, so far, has left a lot to be desired). However, I plan on buying the All Star Superman because of Frank Quitely's art. His style reminds me of Geof Darrow and I don't consider that a bad thing. Superman has never been one of my favorites but I'm willing to up my Superman reading to two a month. (Action of course being the other)
Note to John McMahon, it's very refreshing to see you are excited about some comics.

Are you talking specifically about the "S" in the preview pages or the preview pages, themselves, being different? The pages are the same. Whether or not the "S" is different, I don't remember. I think it was different but can't say for sure.

And he would have to be funnier than Leno.

I'll try it, but I very possibly might drop it, the art doesn't appeal to me,
and neither does the dialogue.
I'll try it, because maybe Grant Morrison will be able to pull it off in the
end, or maybe the preview just isn't a good judge of the quality of the
book (such as the case with Young Avengers), so I'll give it a shot.

Didn't like the art. Quitely's style reminds me too much of the 1990's Valiant comics which for some reason I always found excessively boring... but man what a great interview Grant Morrison gave in that newsarama article. It made me really excited to look at the preview only to have Quitely's art lull me to sleep. I'd love to see that comic he was talking about with the miniature Superman making the real Superman feel redundant.

"So if I want to die happy it's time to get serious about killing Supeman."
******
JB: Which iteration of Lex is this, I wonder? Seems like most of the previous versions have been pretty darn "serious" about killing Superman.

Those of you who have doubts about Quitely must read WE3. The art there is extraordinary.

It IS a different "S" than in the Wizard preview, which left out the bottom-most yellow triangle and the small yellow triangle in the upper-right corner of the shield. The one in this preview is the traditional "S" shield.
