And the Republicans have put Marjorie Taylor Greene on the Education Committee.

Lets not forget that she's claimed the Newtown and Parkland shootings were staged, and called for executing Democrats, but she is also one of the biggest voter fraud believers.Aand in her latest bit of crazy, she's now claiming that wildfires are caused by... I kid you not....space lasers owned by Jews!

Space lasers owned by Jews? You're not supposed to find out about those yet, damn it!

Uh, I mean, what a curious and preposterous notion...

Chris Claremont used to say that the difference between the
USA and the UK was that what the UK call right wing, USA
calls left and what the UK calls left wing, the USA would
throw in prison.

It's now at the stage where what the USA call left wing, we
call right wing and what the USA call right wing, the UK
call a fucking moron.

And you put them in charge of education. Geeze

Hey James, not all of us wanted them in charge of education, or even a coloring book and a box of Crayolas! :)

And given the opportunity, we cleared 'em out. But even the fucking morons couldn't predict how much damage that administration would cause. Half a million dead Americans before this is over, and I promise you that some of us are sensitive to losses in the UK and other countries. Still, a wise population would have learned from others' mistakes... but no, we had to make our own. We're damned lucky we survived, and I'm exaggerating.

Um... maybe I missed a turn, but I didn't think Chris Claremont was British. Of course, he's entitled to his own opinion... but is it based on valid data?

Claremont was born in England and moved to the US when he was
three.

As Brian said, he left when he was three. But his assessment was
pretty accurate. Especially @ th time he said it which was when we had
Michael Foot as leader of the Labour Party. I’m left wing & he was too
left wing for me.

We have seen what were once Democratic staples, states' rights and segregation (Dem. Lyndon Johnson got in to Texas' politics as a staunch seeming segregationist), be more adopted by the Republican party. It's at a point where you really do expect to see sitting Republican caught at a KKK event, but Qanon and 'proud' whoevers are pretty much the same thing (swastikas and confederate flags were at the Jan. 6th atrocity). I love pointing out to those who buy into the 'liberals are all tax and spend' dogma how Ronald Reagan more than tripled the U.S. national debt and raised taxes nineteen times.

"It's great having CLASS back in the White House and an intelligent person in charge."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

New definitions:

Class - Being guilty of plagiarism, accused of sexual assault, and spending years falsely accusing an innocent man of drunk driving in a fatal collision.

Intelligent - Voting FOR George W. Bush's Iraq War and advising AGAINST the raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

I'm not looking for Biden to be perfect, I just want an improvement over the last 4 years.

Oh look, Michael Bunge is going to be the fun one in this thread....

Let's see, in order:

Kinnock didn't take issue with the comments being used and Biden fully admitted he erroneously forgot to credit him.

Tara Reade was proven to be liar when all her claims were shown to be false.  The three aides she named who she said asserted that they were assaulted, all denied ever talking to her or in being assaulted.  Other allegations were also proven to be false.  Reade also lied about passing the bar (she had failed it 3 times) and in having a BA from Antioch University (she did not).  The amount of lies she got caught is in laughable.

The man who killed Biden's wife and two sons was said to have been drunk by witnesses, but there was no actual proof.  Police reports are no longer available and Biden has taken the family's word that he was not drunk.  Dunn was not, however, innocent.  He killed three people.

Many democrats voted for the Iraq War.  Americans were pissed, they wanted blood.  Time for people let that one go.  FYI:  29 (of 50) Dems voted for it.

Finally, yes he told Obama not to do it, as did all the chiefs of staff except for Panetta, in January.  In late April, even though skeptical about it, as was Robert Gates, he advised Obama to "follow his instincts".

Nice try in trying to toss shade, but it's very easy to disprove.  You will not get a lovely parting gift, however.

Today will be interesting in the House.  In a private vote, GOP voted 130-61 to move forward with stripping Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments.  I wonder how the public vote will look.

Regardless, the vote just needs to be in the majority for it to pass.  Next up, removing her from the house.

The GOP have made their bed.

They are now the party of crazy-ass, dumbshit people that believe in liberals drinking the blood of babies and satellites with lasers that start wildfires.

Have fun with that..........
