Off the top of my head.....and strictly sticking to people who were still alive after I was born.
Jim Aparo Marshall Rogers Carmine Infantino Herbe Trimpe Mark Gruenwald Dave Cockrum Jon PertweeJohn Hurt Rowdy Roddy Piper Alan Kulwicki Roger Zelazny
If people alive but in no condition to interact with count, add Bill Mantlo, sadly.
True story: I was at an event where NASCAR drivers were signing autographs, and found out that Alan Kulwicki was signing at a Hooters restaurant (they were his car's sponsor). I considered going, but didn't. He was killed the next day.
Also passed up the opportunity to meet Roddy Piper at a convention, but that was a few years before he died.
