Well, that's good news, actually. I was certain he'd died!

Keith Richards and Iggy Pop are the two musicians most people are surprised
that are still alive.

Off the top of my head.....and strictly sticking to people who were still alive after I was born.

Jim Aparo
Marshall Rogers
Carmine Infantino
Herbe Trimpe
Mark Gruenwald
Dave Cockrum
Jon Pertwee
John Hurt
Rowdy Roddy Piper
Alan Kulwicki
Roger Zelazny

If people alive but in no condition to interact with count, add Bill Mantlo, sadly.

True story: I was at an event where NASCAR drivers were signing autographs, and found out that Alan Kulwicki was signing at a Hooters restaurant (they were his car's sponsor). I considered going, but didn't. He was killed the next day.

Also passed up the opportunity to meet Roddy Piper at a convention, but that was a few years before he died.

I'm happy to say I met most of my comics heroes, with Jack Kirby at the top of the list.

Two I missed:  Russ Manning and Dan Spiegle.

Actress:  Julie Newmar, who, I'm happy to say, is still around, so maybe someday.  Grace Kelly.

Wanted to meet Stan Lee at last years Cincinnati Comic Expo but the three hour wait was way too long for my heath to endure what with 25 years survial from a TBI at that time.

DeForest Kelly.

He always seemd like the nicest of the original cast from Star Trek from what interviews I saw.

(I was very lucky to meet Leonard Nimoy around 2009/10 when he visited the UK for the last time I believe. What a voice that man had. And I felt privileged to shake his hand.)

I also would have loved to have met Sir Roger Moore, and Audrey Hepburn.

I'd have liked to have met Charles Schulz, if only because I was a huge PEANUTS fan as a kid.
