Something caught my eye, and I gotta mention it.
On today's page (17) the flashback showed Estelle and Malcolm leaving from the door down the stairs, but it was established that they left by the fire escape leaving a trail of bloody footprints.

Please forgive if I'm missing something.

(NoPrize to me: Since this is a flashback of someone who wasn't there first-hand, Granny assumed they left from the front door down the inside stairs.   !)

I've been on the road the past few weeks, but I have been able to sneak onto family and friends computers to follow the pages every few days.  This has been an amazing experience to read the pages in serialized form.  And it is a great "behind the scenes" experience to see the art and script separate.  A real treat, JB - thank you so much for doing this!

We have had a few threads about "dream commissions", and in the last few I have mentioned how I would like to commission JB to do a series of newspaper strips.  At first, I thought it would be fun to see him do a return to comedy with a series of Rog 2000 strips, but recently I thought a serialized dramatic story would be better.  I thought DANGER UNLIMITED would be a good series.  Now that I have seen FINDERS OF LOST CHILDREN roll out on a daily basis, I feel like I have gotten my wish to see a story unfold as if we were reading it in a newspaper.  This is even better, as we are getting a Sunday's worth of panels a day.  This has been a wonderful ride, JB - the only difficulty has been sneaking onto computers while I have been traveling!

The story has been gripping and intense.  Cynthia's reaction to the crime scene makes it even more chilling than if we saw some kind of gore.  I really like how we follow the trail of this mystery - I like how you reveal each element.  And I really like how we are finding more about Gower and his past.

A fantastic story so far, JB -- a thousand thank you's for sharing this with us!!

Just finished the last pages of FINDERS OF LOST CHILDREN #1, and I found it a very intriguing opening to a larger story. And, as always, I loved the storytelling.

JB, That is definitely a comic I would have loved to buy, and would buy if you ever decide to publish it...
And I am very curious to find out what you had in mind for the following issues, and how (if) it would connect to the NEXT MEN eventually.

It was interesting.

(made a comment I deleted as it could be considered speculative, even though it was pretty broad)

It was great seeing a JB story again ... Thanks!
(are we allowed to ask for more?)

edited to add that i meant "more" as in: JB written/drawn comics... from a publisher, NOT just "more" as in: freebies. I know this was a one-off, I just miss going to a LCS for something I actually enjoy reading.

A fabulous read and wonderfully paced visually.

I love the penultimate page. It is a feast for the eyes. The down shot on the second panel is gorgeous. but the fourth panel on that page is awesome.

Thanks John.

Thanks for that treat Mr Byrne. Too bad that series won't happen.I enjoyed it a lot and would gladly have bought it like many here. The plus side is that I got to be the office assistant arranging the words, cutting, placing and pasting the balloons.

That was a great bit of sleight of hand there. I want to read more of these stories, if the muse hits!
