Didn't see the twist coming. That was a gripping little tale, thanks for putting the hard work in and then posting it all here for us to enjoy.
Loved the house in the epilogue -- amazing panel of the staircase. Do you think we will ever see 1985?

JB - on page 20 two different "red"s were used. to my eyes (via my less-than-best monitor) this was the only page with a different red - was there a reason for that?

Fresh blood and dried blood. Technically, the blood spattered room should have been the darker, dry shade, but there I was going for dramatic effect.

Thanks for the answer, and thanks for letting us see it. It was "fun" getting it a page-a-day too.

Huge fan of Critical Error and I'd love to see you do more stuff like that. Also love the illustration you posted in this thread. Thanks for that and thanks for sharing Finders as well, JB.

I dig well-done done-in-one issues, and this story was certainly that. As I said earlier, this is the best panel-to-panel work I've ever seen from JB. After reading page 17, I felt like I knew where things were headed, and am pleased to learn I was right.

That's key. Even when you think you know what's gonna happen next in a JB tale, going along for the ride is the best part. Storytelling that never disappoints.

This first issue of FINDERS was a great read. I could've seen this being a six issue intro into your full unveil of the story. The page a day format was fun too. This one issue is just dam impressive. Again, thanks for sharing and the enjoyment.

I really enjoyed reading a page a day while I was on the road, but I just re-read this story in one shot. It's even better than reading it a page at a time. Excellent story, JB!
Thank you so much for putting this up, JB - I was concerned that reading the script separately from the art would be jarring, but the story flows really well. I got used to reading that way and it still got sucked into the story.
I think Gower is one of your best characters. This story hints at a compelling past (and future!)

Gower has a lot of layers, only some of which I've hinted at in his two appearances. Cynthia is more than meets the eye, too. (Give yourselves fifteen extra points if you picked up on her being a recovering alcoholic!)

Time to go back and reread I suppose, because I completely missed that...
