Wasn't planning on buying it, but did so at the last minute.
Thought it was really good; a great example of how to produce a first issue!
Keep it up.

Read it last night and loved it. I stand by my "historical quotes" supposition
unless Gail says otherwise. Pity JB's run isn't extended -- this creative team
is great.

Enjoyed it. Great art. Loved the inks. Looking forward to seeing more of
the JLA down the line. Btw, that was Ray Palmer incognito as Ryan
Choi's taxi-driver, right?

My new pull list: All New Atom, Every comicbooks by Claremont, Detective Comics, Batman, Hawkgirl, Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis, Mouse Guard, Warlord, Wonder Woman, Nextwave.
And of course I read on-line the free e-comic Colony by Layton/Giordano/Sokoliwsky on www.boblayton.com (there will be a paper edition later).
I realy enjoyed a lot this first issue of All New Atom. Gail Simone is really a very good writer, and for the art, thats the Byrne that I like. The inking and the colors were great too.
The reactions accross the net seems to be good for what i did see (excepted for the few people who won't buy anything with the name Byrne on it, but thats a minority. a noisy one, but just that.) most of the people seem to enjoy it, both art and story.

JB,
You're scaring me. You seem more down than I am used to seeing. Am I just reading you wrong?
Tell you what. If you ever decide to do one of those self-publishing
gigs like Stephen King, count me in as a customer. We need you around.

A little quote to cheer Mr B up:
"Wow! That's Byrne! I'll take it!"

You're scaring me. You seem more down than I am used to seeing. Am I just reading you wrong?**** One cannot fly in the face of reality, Ronald. To this extent, the sad boys on the internet and the self-fulfilling prophets in the shops have won. My current career is a shadow of its former self -- brought down almost entirely by lies.

I'm confident that that will change soon for the better, you are at the best of abilities JB, besides, the excellent duo you do with Gail Simone will shut those sad boys -and you hadn't kill nobodyÕs pet in years now, no?-.
The All New Atom is -by far- the best thing this whole OYL has gives us. I don't know how much of Morrison is in the series, I don't know how much of GailÕs is, I loved the inks because I can see your art -and your art is great as ever and I even venture to say even better than before-, the final product is a very good and entertaining comic.
Thanks for putting so much love and passion in your work!
MAESTRO!

Just wanted to let everyone know I ordered right around the same numbers I did for most of the other new DC first issues (of similar nature) and sold out yesterday, about an hour before closing. After confirmation that more were on the way, I refilled the rack with copies originally intended for the employees and my close friends (with their blessing). I doubt they'll last through the weekend but it definitely is selling well for me.

Flipping through the Brave New World issue, JB art clearly popped off the pages far better than any of the other artists.
