This one is mine! It looks great! My favorite part is Havok's face. Wolverine looks awesome. 3 commissions down in this series...4 to go.

That combo picture reminded me of something I haven't thought of in years. I used to think that once Kitty got her graduation costume that it would be neat to have it look like Marvel Girl's above (dress) costume only a different color. That was back when Kitty still wore the school's uniform of course.

One of the best. Any artist that would tamper with this sleek, classic design is off his rocker. If you're a comic book artist and you think to yourself, "that's one costume that needs updated," please leave the industry now. •• The irony here -- that word again! -- is that Havok's original costume is literally timeless. There is absolutely nothing about it that ties it to any particular epoch. Yet those who felt it was their mandate to "update" the design shoveled in all the elements that were "hot" at Just That Moment, making a costume that was almost instantly out of date!

Havok here is perfect. The mask, the face, the solid black inking, the power being just barely held in check. Sweet.
Somehow I did not realize this was a series! Keep 'em comin'!

I always felt Havok's costume is probably one of the best costumes out there, especially when you add in his power effect.It has never been improved upon. I agree, perfect for CGI or modern animation techniques; it was truly a costume "ahead of its time" and yeah, timeless. Now that I think about it, Havok and Polaris were my "first" X-men. The first place I read him in a story was a Treasury Edition reprint of Havok's battle with the Hulk. I knew nothing about him, or his brother and the X-men, but that story made him a favorite of mine. I just wish he could be used well, and in the right place and the right costume.

I think just about the worst update was the "Goblyn Prince" shredded costume he ended up wearing the "Inferno" story line.I think Mark Silvestri designed this, but whoever it was has much to answer for...
