JB:  If the doorbell rings on Halloween, I think I'll
head for the basement and lock the door!

++++

Who'da thunk you could scare the guy who draws
Blood of the Demon?  I wouldn't think anything could
be more petrifying than the guy who had his face
bitten off!

*****

The guy with his face bitten off wasn't real, but
anything that could ring my doorbell would be!!

Anyone who has followed my ravings for any length of time knows "hate" is a word I generally resist, except in the "I hate when that happens" kind of way. In the real world, on a day to day basis, I would have a lot of trouble working up enough energy to really hate anybody this side of Hitler -- and ol' 'Dolfy would probably get off the hook, too, what with being dead an' all.

So, I don't hate fans. I have, on occasion, been annoyed by some fans (cue: fans who follow me into the men's room looking for autographs story), and if I have learned nothing else from being online for the last 10 years it is that those kinds of fans (a)absolutely cannot comprehend why their "innocent" words or actions would annoy anyone, and (b)invariably translated their experience to represent the whole. So, if they were obnoxious, loudmouthed assholes and I responded to them as such -- well, it must be because I "hate" them. And if I hate them, I must hate all the fans.

And then there is. . .

John's saying he hates commies, I think.  Or not 'hates', but doesn't like.

I am not now, nor have I ever been a commie, and I resent the fact that JB hates me.
