JB, just a random thought:is it possible that there was a Sasquatch--that is, a fusion of a human and Tanaraq the Great Beast--before Walt Langkowski?

Sorry if I'm intruding, but in my opinion, it would be one of those things that would make Walter Langkowski/Sasquatch less unique. Well, in fact, not unique at all.

Not to take away Walt's singular situation, just that if it happened once...
Like I said, it was just idle speculation.

Yes sorry. I noticed I'd intruded and tried to delete the post but I couldn't so, I ended adding the apology.

It seems doubtful to me. Langowski unleashed huge amounts of energy with his Gamma experimentation, temporarily smashing a hole in the barrier that trapped the Great Beasts to allow a link to form with Tanaraq.
Before the radioactive age, man had no way to tap into such vast amounts of energy and I'd say there was no predecessor to the unfortunate Langowski.

My thoughts as well. Sasquatch's origin is still to this day my favorite story-telling and I wish there was even more of a backstory...

Well, there goes my SasSquad pitch... ;)
Seriously, though, it's an idle thought and I wanted the creator's take, because I do believe the creator is the one who knows the character best. Thanks for the answer, JB!
