Yeah, Marvel made them have "individuality" if they stayed out too long. And not only did they have a relationship, they had a child together that ended up being absorbed by Jamie when he went to hold it; making Theresa a tad bit upset.

and come to think of it, since I don't believe you've ever drawn Theresa Cassidy, I'm super curious what she'd look like under your creativity. Mainly curious about her face, since Sean had a very particular look when you drew him and I wonder what aspects of his would come through in her face.
(sprung from the thought that your sibling and child characters all contain a hint of their related persons in their faces....which seems to me to be a work of genius to accomplish that)

The art is so crisp and clean on this latest page posted. Sprite's costume always looks good when you draw it. Echoing Wallace's words: the solid blacks of the costume look great. Spider-Man also looks really good in that last panel.
I'm assuming this page will turn up 'for real', on account of the censored panel; I hope so, anyway, as it looks like it's telling an interesting tale.

I think it was Peter David that introduced the duplicates gaining their own personalities.
He had Jamie send them out into the world to learn things and gain skills and whatnot. Then when he reabsorbed them, he learned what they had learned.

Did anyone bother to address the questionable ethics of Jamie reabsorbing a duplicate that had evolved a separate mind/personality?

Of course not. Peter David wrote is which means it’s perfect and there’re no flaws in it whatsoever.

Hm..... Sounds like a potential subplot for ELSEWHEN--if I find myself with nothing better to do!

I loved your take on a similar power with Flashback.

Not really similar. Flashback was able to pluck “moments” out of his timestream. So they were not clones or copies. They were actually him, but from his own future. The closest I came to Maddrox was Caucus, in DANGER UNLIMITED. Tho there he’d split into three with no intention of fusing them back together. (His problem would prove to be their shared intellect. The further apart they got, the more diminished their intelligence.)

Ah yes, forgot about Caucus! Definitely an interesting take.
With Flashback, it was a great moment when one of those future selves died, and it made a shambles of him, mentally. All future selves from that point were then aware of that moment, no? Could have been an interesting follow up story there.

Pertinent to a scene I drew today I decided to check to see if Nightcrawler had an established range for his teleportation. Then I read further. Oh, dear!

Did anyone bother to address the questionable ethics of Jamie reabsorbing a duplicate that had evolved a separate mind/personality?------------------------- As I recall the duplicate had gone rogue and was evil. I think. Maybe tried to kill him? My memories are hazy. It was close in time to when I ditched X-Factor.
