Nowhere did I say Trump is not dangerous.+++++ JB, didn't think I stated that you said Trump was not dangerous... actually, i was just asking you the question... •• Let's not play this game. I did not say Trump is not dangerous. There is therefore no reason to "ask" if I don't think he's dangerous.

It was Robert A. Heinlein who suggested that when you go into a voting booth, you might be charged a small amount, or you might have to solve a quadratic equation, or answer a simple history question, or some other qualifier to vote. While this is not fair, there is something to be said for the idea. However, it would restrict so many voters who are good citizens but who didn't get an adequate education that it's not workable in that form. But in the United States, being born, being over eighteen years of age, and having a body temperature of 37 is all that one needs to be qualified to vote. That doesn't sound entirely suitable either.•• Heinlein had conservative leanings. His "suggestion" presents the same problem as the Electoral College: it robs people of their right to express an opinion in an election. One Man One Vote is the only system that should ever be considered, but the Founding Fathers were confronted with a whole flock of problems we do not face today. Problems that no longer exist. This country could be vastly improved if only Congress would give it an upgrade.

I was shocked at the `Brexit` vote here in the U.K. hearing conversations or seeing members of the public interviewed on tv,it became clear that many voters didn`t have a clue what they were voting for,or against, then there were the ones who said they wouldn`t be voting as it was a foregone conclusion and their vote wouldn`t count. Then there were the ones who in the recent election didn`t know wether to vote Conservative or Tory...i kid you not!

One Man One Vote is the only system that should ever be considered----------------------------- This gets my vote (heh). Certainly, given the problems we've had with low voter turnouts, I don't think more hoops to jump through before you can vote are the answer. An intelligence test seems very undemocratic.

I suggest a test, where you watch a video in the voting booth of a used car salesman attempting to start a car, that won't crank. Then, he tries to sell, you the viewer, the car. At the end of the video, you the viewer /voter are asked if you'd buy the car. If you mark, Yes, the voting booth locks you out.
Personally, I hope that one day, we get rid of the electoral college and get back to the idea of One Man, One Vote.

Arnold speaks (suggesting what Trump should have said): ‘As President of the United States, and as a Republican, I reject the support of white supremacists. The country that defeated Hitler’s armies is no place for Nazi flags. The party of Lincoln won’t stand with those who carry the battle flags of the failed Confederacy.'

Oh my god, if only. Words are so powerful, eh? What a person doesn't say speaks volumes.
There's a lot of clickbait around at the moment rumouring that 45 will resign. I'll believe it only when I see it.

Trump might sneak out the back door of the WH by blaming "fake news" for preventing him from getting his REAL WORK done.

I asked a Trump supporter at work how he thought the President was doing. "Well, the economy's doing great," he said. The nuclear pissing contest with North Korea, the tragedy in Charlottesville, the revolving door for White House staffers, and the tarnished image of the Presidency never even came up, so long as the economy's doing great. And Trump really had nothing to do with that.
