I rarely post but visit often. Still can't believe that I get to occasionally interact with my favorite writer/artist.

I've never understood the so-called email problem. I registered with an old free Juno account that I wouldn't know how to access now if I tried.

I still exist. (Happily thrilled that my favourite comic artist for over 40 years recalls my name. Really beside myself)
I haven't logged in for a while but do still visit.

I shook hands with you at Toronto FanExpo 2018 after your Sunday panel and shared a short word with you. It was a milestone moment for me.
I love this Forum and value it greatly.

Lars is alive!
The ability to interact, as mentioned a few times, is a really special thing about this place. I remember the feeling I had when I first had a reply from JB. I still get that now. His stories were such an important part of my childhood, & remain so to this day. My Kindle library has a ‘John Byrne’ section for the works I have digitally. & I am slowly, oh so slowly, working my way through series I missed in the period when I stopped buying comics. There are a few left, not sure how I will ever get OMAC. DC need to get onto that one
But I thank this forum. & I thank JB for his time here. & let’s never forget, ST New visions started as a spitball here, & we got over two years of free X-Men comics. I really don’t know anyone else who did anything near that.

Slight thread drift, but since James mentioned OMAC, I really wish IDW could/would get the rights to the property and do an Artist's or oversize Artisan edition single volume. That book deserves it. End of thread drift.

Glad to see Michael is still here. I don't post as regularly, but I check in nearly every day. I don't plan on going anywhere, either. It really is cool to be able to communicate with JB. As long as JB is here, so am I.
On the membership: As noted, message boards aren't as popular on the internet as they once were. Reddit, Discord, X/Twitter and fan pages on social media sites have all taken over. There are loads of JB fans on Facebook, I can confirm as I am a member of a JB group (one of many) on Facebook. So, it's not a lack of interest in our host that's responsible for lower membership on this site.

The OMAC pages are long since scattered far and wide. Gathering them together would be a labor worthy of Hercules.

My old friend Scott Dunbier did the Artists Editions at IDW and he left the company a month or so ago to start his own publishing business. He might well do more Artists Editions--we'll have to see. But OMAC would be a very worthy project, for all that assembling the original art to scan would be a massive challenge.
