Ohh, deeply saddened by this. I loved his run on Iron Man, and his art on the Spider-man vs Wolverine one shot was one of my all time favourite issues of any comic book that there's ever been. I still revisit that issue to this day, and marvel at how well it was constructed.

My Deepest condolences to his family, friends and fans the world over.

Who inked that Wolverine/Spider-Man book? I can’t remember.

Christopher Priest had a tribute to him in Bleeding Cool. Quantum and Woody was based on their relationship. LINK

This one saddens me as well. I remember Mr. Bright's GREEN LANTERN and ICON work with fondness.

Aha. I knew it had a distinct look, and that’s why.

Yeah! I was all in on ASM at the time that came out so the reveal and death
of the prominent long-time cast member in that special (and a lot of the
overall story, really. Wasn’t a lot of it set in Germany or something?) didn’t
make a whole helluva lot of sense to me at the time. But I was also all in on
Bright, so it was a definite must-buy.

A lot of that story went over my head at 9 years old, but made sense when I revisited down the line. Probably how most of these books should work!

This panel that Mark Bright drew seared itself into my memory back in the late 80s:

That panel absolutely scared the shit out of me when I was a kid.

That is a great panel.

I enjoyed his work as well. Well done, Mark Bright.
