I’d expect that’s been the case for years. Certainly at least since 9/11. I just doubt they’re all housed in the basement of the Lincoln Memorial.
I was thinking the other day about how to separate out the stuff that Trump does that I find offensive and downright ludicrous from how I feel about Trump himself (he makes it pretty difficult). But building a giant, unasked for arch in the middle of our Capitol and then announcing it’s fully armed and operational is something I’d have been repulsed by regardless of which President was behind it.
For the record, the one thing the Trump administration has done this time around that I haven’t had a problem with is discontinuing the minting of pennies.
