The upcoming AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 1000 will have 1000 different covers.

(Not really, but they are doing a BUNCH of them.)

Even odder that they use IDW and Dynamite to publish comics using Disney characters, and not the publisher that they actually own!

I remember hearing comic store owners grumbling about the Wal-Mart/DC 100 Page Super Spectacular initiative 8 years ago. "It's siphoning sales from us".

Which, of course led to the same issues being released concurrently in comic book stores as well. With a variant cover.

I see so many stories regarding covers.
That seems to be what people are interested in.
The only covers I collected were the John Tyler Christopher Star Wars
action figure covers. Because they hit several buttons at the same time.
But that is it.
Beyond that, I don’t get collector covers at all - in both senses of that
sentence.
