JB - When you put a double page splash into your early work, was the layout of which pages would be ads preset and you had to work around that?  Or could single page ads and letters pages be shuffled at the printing plant to give you more freedom?

And after JB answers, let’s see some of your favourite double page splashes!

All of the above, really.

That spread is not a good example, btw. It was pages 2 & 3, which, except for one brief time at Charlton, were always free of ads.
