Well then, glad I am a subscriber to the Times.  Really looking forward to that.

The New Yorker next! Or a cover. :)

Reading some diverse comments online, I can see the biggest hurdle to be cleared, at least with some people, is the same thing I faced when I started posting the pages here: they simply cannot wrap their brains around the fact that ELSEWHEN has nothing to do with current X-Men continuity and is not, as one review put it, “set in the Eighties but with 2020s sensibilities.”*

It took a while when I was posting here for some people to stop trying to cross reference ELSEWHEN with existing material. How long will it take this time?

___

*Vehicles alone should be enough to dispel that idea.

For too many, too loud people out there, and for too long, their minds have JB "set" in the 80s and ever thus he shall be.

Some people squawked when I did the short preview for XHY and drew Bobby Drake in a backwards baseball cap.

Oh, they had baseball caps in the 1980s, did they?

I had to chuckle at the quote, "I'm not Alan Moore. I'll take the money!' Heck yeah! Deservedly so! I just got my copy of Elsewhen from Amazon. I just love John's art work. Always have. At 53 years of age it makes me feel young seeing his work once again.
