I’m reading a reprint of X-Men #137, and I think I have the Mandela effect. I swear I remember Lilandra offering the X-Men a chance to leave before the fight, and Beast trying to leave but Angel stopping him, and later Beast lamenting that ‘Warren used to pick up on my signals, I could have gone and gotten the Avengers.’ So I fished out my original issue, and it doesn’t say that.

Did such an exchange happen in another X-Men book, or did I dream it?
