Many years ago, I worked at a bank office in New Jersey. There was a fella named Tony who worked in the computer room and knew I was a comic book junkie. He had taken his young son to a small, local show and got this autograph for me. He had no idea that he asked Dave Cockrum to autograph a John Byrne Wolverine postcard.

The image from Wolverine #17 is absolutely badass -- so much better than the one taken from UXM.

Jon Pinto: "...He had no idea that he asked Dave Cockrum to autograph a John Byrne Wolverine postcard...."

Interesting. When I was at a small convention in Indianapolis in the early 2000s, a fellow approached Dave Cockrum to sign a card set, but Cockrum politely declined precisely because he didn't have anything to do with the set.

There have been many times when I have declined to autograph products on which I did not work. Many a time the fan who has asked for it would be quite bewildered.

Caught a few minutes of the Green Lantern movie this evening. Still annoyed over how they mucked up the uniform.
