I have that in black! bought it on Amazon a year ago. I like the worn-out look of it.

Edited after researching: Yep it's "Wolverine Blues" by Entombed from the early 1990s you are thinking of, Jack:

Info I found online:

"Wolverine Blues is the third song from the album Wolverine Blues, released 1993.

The single version of this song and a version of the album was released with Marvel Comics character Wolverine on the cover, although Entombed never wanted their album to be associated with the superhero. Earache Records, without the band’s permission, had made a deal with Marvel in order to use Wolverine to promote the album to a more mainstream audience."

Oh, and this is where I first heard that song:

Oh, and on the subject of Wolverine and Beavis and Butthead, they make a reference to the character at the end of this segment:

I took a photo of this trailer hitch that a vendor had at a convention near me a few years ago.

Superman featured.

Kind of surprised that the "Wolverine in a sewer" shot doesn't get used more often. Just...put the whole panel on a t-shirt and print money.

Yeah I thought it was that one but I wasn't sure. Thanks for clarifying.

Doesn’t really work as an isolated image, out of context.

JB, do you know when you have created an iconic image?
Are there elements that you know to incorporate into a new piece that will set it apart from everything else?
Has there been work you have done that you didn't think would have the impact it has ( the sewer panel for example?)?

I don’t worry about being “iconic”. I know the fans will pick what they like—and that I won’t necessarily agree with them!

That image should get used more... I think it works as a graphic tee...
