Hello JB & Co.,

A lil' help with this one, please?  I thought I remember seeing it colored and therefore thought it had been published.

My first two guesses were 1) Part of the outtakes from 2112, belonging to Sathanas's Halflings, or 2) A back cover to one of Goulart's "Great Comic Book Artists"

If no one knows, I'm up for accepting guesses, hunches or speculations, like I offered.  :)

Something about the line looks to be a more recent vintage
of JB's art than 2112 would be.

I recognize it, but as to its provenance—well, it look like a wraparound cover, but for what…….?

Thanks, Joe, and JB!

Without the page in hand, I'm gonna add what little physical info Heritage provided: "This piece features 10 inked characters of unknown origin or usage, and above that another five lightly penciled roughs that seem to include Captain America, the Thing, and Spider-Man. The image is on a section of Marvel Bristol board and signed in the lower left of the 11" x 9" image area."

Since 2112 was done on oversized boards, another guess is that this oversized page was cut in half.

I used to think this was related to 2112, but given the Marvel characters at the top (and I see the Human Torch on the upper right, and what might be Cyclops on the middle left), I don't think it is any longer.  A mystery.

I am curious about the inking process here - JB, would you start inking directly from those loose sketches?

These characters don't match, but my mind got a Lost Generation vibe from first glimpse.
