Happy 4th of July JB! Thanks in advance for your time, hopefully this is a pretty quick and easy question. I just re-read your incredible Man of Steel series and was curious regarding the cover art to issue #3 (Superman breaking through the wall to fight Magpie)...more specifically, given that the cover art is essentially the same image as the half-page splash from page 14 that Dick Giordano had inked, I was curious as to which was done first? In this case, had you done the interiors to this book and liked the half-splash image and decided to replicate it on the cover? Thanks again for your time.

Honestly, I don’t remember!! But it seems likely the interior would have come first.

Thanks JB, much appreciated. I remember on the back cover of the collector's edition of issue #1 it featured all of the covers to the 6 issues hence me wondering if they were completed first? But it sounds like you may have had the time to work and complete the entire interiors leading up to that first issue's release. Thanks again.
