I had cataract surgery about 18 years ago.  I have loved it mostly ever since.  I wore glasses or contacts from 2nd grade on, until after my second surgery.  Now I wear readers, and night driving glasses, but the other 80% of the time, it's nice to go without glasses.

You had an opthalmologist here on Byrne Robotics that informed me that I just needed to trust my surgeon.  I did.  Here's to a speedy recovery, JB.

My dad had Eye 1 done yesterday. Said the op took around 10 minutes, a fair bit of prodding and probing and lots of flushing out. Uncomfortable but no more than you'd expect.

Vision a bit blurry day after but until Eye 2 is done next week, that's to be expected.

Main problem is boredom as he's been told to use common sense but to rest and not really do anything which is not something he is good at! I would imagine you will be the same JB.

Wishing you the best luck and a speedy recovery, not so you can get back to drawing, that would be selfish, so you can enjoy a new view of the world though a clean windshield : )

Mr. Byrne, when are you going in? And do you want cards/greetings sent to your home (which would require your address.)? I would be glad to send a greeting just for you to read when you're healed back up!

I've had a floater since I was really young. If it starts breeding, I'll know what to ask.

Get well soon JB!
