Apologies for the delay posting today's page. Last night saw a visit from two old "friends", insomnia and acid reflux. Just woke up a few minutes ago (8:30 local time).

Now that's a million dollar Storm page. You can feel the joy her powers are capable of!

No worries, JB. Hope you are feeling better. I had imagined you were making last minutes changes to the page.
Nice page. It is fun seeing the characters smiling and using their powers to make life a little easier.

Now that's a damned fine headquarters setup for the X-Men.Ironic-yet-appropriate; it feels justifiably natural.
Asteroid M could've (?) been a close second (but for the logistical back-and-forth. This isn't the Justice League.)
Also: ditto sympathies on the travails of reflux. That stuff ain't no joke.

I enjoy seeing our heroes use their powers in non-combat situations.

You take care of yourself, sir. We're patient; we'll wait for YOU to be well.
Wow, that big panel shows everybody enjoying watching Ororo in action. And there's Xavier SMILING! That page is dynamite in its delight!

It’s interesting, isn’t it, to think of how super powers would impact upon our day to day lives. Mind you, we don’t want to fall into the sexist trap of THE BIONIC WOMAN, where Jamie Summers spent much of the first episodes doing housework!

Being able to clean house as quickly as Storm with a gentle breeze (OK, it says hurricane) would be nice, but I'd probably knock over all the stuff I didn't want to if I had that power. Just catching up after being away - did Kitty get her hair cut or is it just tied up high (my 15 year old does that, currently died it pink/red on one side, natural brown on the other - kids).
This makes so much sense for the X-Men to look for something a lot more secure than their mansion. Given how often it is blown up especially. I get rebuilding once, but how often has it blown up, and at what point do you say 'hmmm...maybe I should move' - sadly we see in real life that people often are glued to a spot (see people in hurricane areas in Florida for example) and feel leaving would be like surrender rather than being common sense. Ah well, to each their own.
