I love when you come back into the action, but from slightly off to the side. Pacing like this really makes a team book work. And it's great to see the team's two romantics exploring and musing about history. It's easy to forget Peter is a thoughtful guy!

I'm digging today's page. Every panel is a treat, but the last one with Peter and Kurt is especially eye-catchingt!

Nice shadows on Colossus to portray how bright the flash is.

I agree with Richard. If I'm not mistaken, Kurt and Peter interacting together is not something we've really seen in ELSEWHEN before. Just like with Storm in her loft, it's a nice 'humanizing' touch to the narrative.

Mr. Byrne, I've always had a soft spot for your Peter (Piotr?) and seeing Colossus' transformation in today's page was great! My first issue of X-Men was 122 with Peter in the "Hydaulic Vise." I know Cockrum did the cover but the first few pages with Colossus and Wolverine are some my most memorable Byrne/X-Men images. 122 was the first time I'd seen Wolverine since Hulk 182.

Today's page took me back! Thanks

Mr. Byrne --  just out of curiosity...   how would you rate Colossus in comparison with the other Marvel heavy hitters?

His body is physically tougher than the Thing's, per the OHOTMU, but the Thing has a slight strength advantage and a bit more moxie.

It is a bit tricky to trust the House of Ideas these days, because they've pretty much ramped just about everyone up to Class 100 strength, Colossus included  ---   but here in the Elsewhen timeframe, do you stick to the more traditional value set?

In terms of super strength, I always viewed it from the perspective of :

Beast < Luke Cage < Spider-Man < Doc Sampson < Colossus < Thing < Wonder Man...  etc, etc.

Just curious as to where you would place Colossus in terms of feats of strength.

But then again...   once they had Luke Cage go toe-to-toe with Namor underwater (in AvX), I lost all faith with their ability to make sound comic decisions.  So I trust your opinions just a wee bit more than theirs.

Nice touch on Kurt's gloved fingertips, btw.

I’d as soon not try to rank Peter. First, it limits him. Second, it opens the floor to cries of “but you said…”

Would his strength in his armored form be directly associated with his
regular strength? The stronger un-armored = stronger armored?

When it's all said an done, there's a part of my that craves seeing something new and beautiful each and every day.

This place might be the only one that consistently delivers that. Thank you so much for you time and talent Mr. Byrne.
