That's a great picture of John and Dan!Allow me to share mine. I met Dan (and Dave Pruitt) back in 2007 at the Baltimore Comic-con! They recognized me from the forum. I have always enjoyed meeting guys from the forum, and I have made some real friendships over the years. Hope to see my JBFriends again in 2019!

Who drew that framed pencil drawing of Superman? Has a Garcia-Lopez flair.

This video just popped up on my Youtube recommends.
WOW. JB, not only is your collection an absolutely mind blowing sight to behold, but you are a genuinely pleasant, gracious, generous and humble person with such a passion for the comics medium and its history. I could have watched that video all night. Superb stuff.

Just noticed that in his reply to one of the comments, Mike identifies me as a “dual citizen”. Not so! I am a full-fledged damn Yankee. I got my papers! |

Did you give up your Canadian citizenship officially when you became an American (if you ever had it) or your British citizenship? I didn't think the United States requires one to do so.

Not a requirement. My choice. (Why do so many people have so much trouble accepting the fact that I wanted to become an American citizen?)

No trouble accepting it, just curious. I remember being told by my mother that you used to have to stand on the flag of your old country when giving up its citizenship but I never believed her about that. It seemed draconian.

Mr. Byrne - well, considering the state of TODAY'S America....
Nah. It's still great. And the smog will clear eventually.
Your "museum" looks BEAUTIFUL! How I wish there were some way to visit it, and meet you face to face!
And I would see it as inspiration far more than distraction. Of course, I'm neither you nor a professional creator... I suppose some need a vacuum to work in and some need a riot.

No offense to your carpet, but who is watching this video and sees the carpet?

My point exactly. At a guess I’d say faux-ennui engorged fanboys determined to show they are too cool for school.

There was a carpet? It's like those experiments when a gorilla walks through the scene. I was looking at all the interesting stuff. JB could have been naked for all I know.
