ELSEWHEN p. 21
Having some fun experimenting w/ inks - trying to push some boundaries while at the same time keeping it looking as Byrne-tastic as possible

Not half bad! I momentarily thought you edged close to Nelson inking territory, but looking at the original pencils, your approach isn't far from what I think JB intended.

Had a heavy cold over the last weekend.  I decided to make use of my down time by uploading some Elsewhen inks done over the last couple years.  They were all done in Procreate on my iPad Pro.  Enjoy and critique at will.

Well done Mitch and Paul!

Collectively, there is a move toward a purely B&W comic that I appreciate.

Thanks Steven!
You've touched on something that I've been leaning toward - initially when inking, I always had in mind how the color would complete the drawing. Now, it's the opposite - I'm not imagining color at all and just trying to complete the image as it would look solely in B&W.
(nice job, Mitch!)
