11" x 17" illustration of Wolverine, in a pose similar to the following:

LINK

Please draw the costume of your choice, but torn and tattered with battle wounds comparable to that shown in the link above.

Your choice of a full-body or partial body pose.

Whoa! That scared me a little!

Also, I find it completely fascinating to view the two images (this commission and the previous drawing its based on). Your artistic growth and evolution is just Herculean in nature!

Outstanding! Your inks are great and the pose is perfect. Awe with a touch of envy. Add another to the wish list.

Very nice, JB.

Is there any kind of real-world equivalent to Wolverine's boots?  I've never really been able to wrap my head around their design.  I assume it's "only works in comics" but you never know.

Get out of his way, that man is pissed. Hate to see who got him angry.

JB, you sure know how to draw The Wolverine!

Congrats to the commissioner.

NICE!!

Andy: (about Wolverine's boots) "...I assume it's "only works in comics" but you never know..."

I figure the boots would look like they do on Wolverine action figures:

The early Dave Cockrum and JB drawn Wolverine didn't have the boots as flared out as later artists would draw them.

Fabulous drawing John! Love the way you draw Wolverine, in particular his mask/face.
