I'm probably the last person to hear about this guy because it looks like he's been the "official" Superman for Superman Celebration day in Metropolis, Illinois for at least a couple of years.
Now, I don't think he's perfect like Reeve was, but this guy brings a lot to the table. Considering that he's doing all of this in "live" situations and still looking the part I think deserves some consideration.
The guy is an unknown but he is an actor, is 6'2" and can fill out the suit without looking just like a bodybuilder in a suit. Michael O'Hearn of "World's Finest" fame comes to mind in that regard.
And, like I said, Boultinghouse doesn't NAIL it but from the little I've read his personality really comes through when he's at these appearances and to me, he looks really natural in the role. So, even though his appearance isn't perfect his smile and charisma seem to be working well.
Anyway, I just thought I'd post a few pic's of this guy in case I'm not the only one who hadn't seen or heard of him.

Met the guy at Metropolis during the Celebration. Didn't talk much, but, he is enthusiastic about being Superman.
Reminds me a lot of a beefed up Dean Cain.
Not QUITE there, but, passable.
The Superman Celebration (for those that aren't in the know) is a LOT of fun. There is a Superman Museum with all sorts of memorabilia from Kirk Alyn, george Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, and all other Superman incarnations...pretty neat place.
The police badges even have the "S" on them.
HUGE statue in town square. Oh...and the Americana Museum is pretty cool too...all the various genres of movies and entertainment from Elvis, to John Wayne, Angelina Jolie, Clint Eastwood and so much more.
If you are a "day trip" or so away, I'd HIGHLY recommend going. A lot of fun.

His face looks more like Captain Marvel to me. He does fill the suit quite well, tho.

He really looks the part when smiling. That's the kind of smile you expect (or we expect) from Superman. He looks like he enjoys what he does.
