This seems to be a great background for a comic book story or a novel.

32° 9′3.24″N 110°50′2.49″W

You can use google maps and see how huge it is.

There is also this interesting website on the subject.

Comments? Ideas?

Drove by this place with the family this past August.  It truly staggers the mind to see the rows upon rows of hardware -- and we were at ground level (of course)!

It boggles the mind to think of how many trillions of dollars are sitting there rusting.

There's been many movies with "aircraft boneyards" in them. The least notable was "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man". Blech...

You can still see the broken up B-52's that have to be left out for the Russians to verify their destruction by treaty agreement.

There's a similar airplane graveyard near Mojave, CA as well. It's typically for civilian aircraft unlike the one in Arizona that's mostly military.

Do not disparage the good name of Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man, Michael Huber!
