My Cocker Spaniel, Guinness, is a one dog wrecking crew as well when it comes to toys, but these two, found at Wal-Mart have held up for nearly a year now.

Edit: When you squeeze them, both tail and tongue unroll . Pretty amusing!

Mike-

Those chew toys are the ones that my two girls automatically go towards every time we're at Wal-Mart.  The squeeking drives me crazy tho.

A quick puncture with a needle solves that problem Glenn. Mine haven't squeaked in months, but Guinness still loves them.

>>here's one not mentioned. My dog loves to play with an empty 2 litre soda bottle. It's light, easy to toss around, and makes apparently a rather pleasant noise.<<

to go one better on this, Gatoraid bottles -- less noise, more durrable- same amount of doggie-fascination -- tho, there gets to be a point where the challange is just to chew of the lid as fast as possible and then it's done -

The younger of my two bulldogs latched onto these hard plastic keys when she was a pup and never chewed anything else:

The older of my two bullies, however, chewed up a couple of pieces of wooden furniture, and would spend a good part of her day chewing a concrete statue and/or the brickwork on the fireplace.  Thankfully, they've both grown out of it.

No insult intended, Mike, but my dog Stash would chew your dog up and spit him out in minutes -- blessed are the Lab mixes, right?  Nothing lasts around our house.  It's more a question of shelf life.  Will we get a day out of this toy?  A week?  At least an afternoon of private bedroom time sans dog?

Toys are great, but Stash's motivation seems to be "how fast can I completely destroy this thing?"
