I wasn't sure when this one first showed up, but Jim confirmed that it is mine.  Thanks John.  I LOVE it

On the subject of how old Dr. Strange is physically — 45-ish makes sense to me — how old is he chronologically?

I'll dissent on the strictly philosophical point that the cloak should be heavy
- it's a cloak of levitation, after all!

And a 747 is made out of rice paper?

Peg him as being born some time in the early 1900s.

Interesting... so he's probably older than Captain America?  It would be fun to see them trade notes on the olden days.

Now that'd be a sight indeed.
Ow, much as I needed the laughter JB's comment offered me, it hurts my recently operated abdomen when I give in to that impulse.

Besides, and on the point of the cloak, why shouldn't be sturdily heavy until activated? I mean it's not as if the good Doctor is floating around all the time while wearing it or anything.

Thanks Joakim.  I'm not sure that JB gets much gratification out of the simple character pose, but man oh man, I love em

You're welcome, Ari.

And if we judge only by the results, i.e. the many finished character poses in the gallery, I would be mightily surprised if they didn't give JB at the very least some satisfaction. If not, the work definitely doesn't betray it one bit.

On the other hand, if JB didn't enjoy doing them, why he would take on those commissions, Ari?

Anyways, a mighty fine piece. As per usual, I might add.
