Question on the signature, how does one get one's name on the page (To Jeff...)??Is that something we can request from Jim Warden?

***

Personalization is available at no extra charge, upon request. (Tho, I may have to ask for some non-refundable payment before receipt of the piece, if personalization is desired. No one has yet proven dissatisfied with one of these pieces, but the chance always exists, and it would be harder to sell on eBay a piece that's dedicated "To Bob" than one without a dedication.)

-----------------------------

Well, this is a question I asked to Jim Warden recently ( the personalised thing )... And it comes to my mind to wonder why someone would not keep a comission especially requested... I prefer personalized version...

And here I was starting a communication with Jim thinking I was the only looking at getting a commission piece with the Silver Surfer (my favorite character since I was a wee lad) and now we've got this great pic with Phoenix (one of my favorite X-men).

Yeesh... there's no where to go but down now...  I can't think of a better commission pic.

I was thinking of a Surfer pic with Mephisto holding Shalla Bal and the Surfer looking to save her...

Or a pic of the Surfer battling Doom after the Surfer regains his powers back from Doom...

Or the Surfer battling the Stranger...

But the Surfer with Phoenix takes the cake.  Congrats Jeff... whoever you are!

I don't say it much, but this piece was SWEET!

By the way, I could end up homeless, and still not sell a commission I paid for!

No reason you can't still have this, Brad. It's only specific recreations (like covers) that are one-offs.

These are my favourite types of commissions - combinations of characters we weren't used to seeing.

That would've been awesome!

Another great commission piece, JB!

What a story.  It would have been great to read.

I just got done watching X-Men 3 this morning and I've got to say, Mr. Byrne, that your Dark Phoenix looks nothing like Famke Jansen...

I supposed it tell us much about Hollywood, that the casting director looked at lush, voluptuous Jean Gray and cast a stick.

She was also already about ten years too old for the part in the year 2000, when the first film was released. James Marsden (Cyclops) is eight years her junior too.

Thanks John, I'm glad that remains an option!
