Does anyone remember if there was a recurring gossip columnist for either the Daily Planet or WGBS in the Superman titles pre-Crisis on Infinite Earths?
It's for a project I'm working on.

I'm almost positive there was, but I'm drawing a blank on the name. I think she was blonde, and I can almost "see" her in my head. Googling...
I got nothing, but that's the one I was thinking of, Lola Barnett.

The first thing that popped in my head was Rova Barkitt, but she's with Captain Carrot's Amazing Zoo Crew on Earth C and not with the Daily Planet at all.

God, but Colletta really ruined Swan's pencils. Lola looks cross-eyed.

Look at how solid the storytelling is in spite of the sloppy inks.

Yep, she was Lola Barnett, and she left the WGBS after a while. Morgan Edge replaced her with Lana Lang.
Edited to add: for me, Clark should always work at the Planet, but I admit that I miss the WGBS cast.

Lola Barnett? ************************************** One assumes a play on Rona Barrett a popular gossip columnist from the Seventies. I believe she published a bunch of magazines and appeared on Good Morning America for a time.
