I was just looking thru the M***** Solicitation book and noticed the name of an artist on one of their books. His name is John M. Burns.

I see this guy on Ebay searches.

"Here is an AUTOGRAPHED magazine cutting of ex-MILLWALL & QPR striker JOHN BYRNE..."

I would imagine the Scotish Writer and Artist John Byrne is the one that is most easily confused with 'our' JB.

Would you buy a house from John Byrne?

http://www.john-byrne.co.uk/

Or book him for a guitar concert?

Hmmm...comic artist, musician, Byrne Robotics chief, real estate agent...one bad-ass dude, with four  different identities...JB, you've got Moon Knight beat all to hell!;-)

Hmm. My point seems to have been missed. Another comic artist. His name is John Burns. Pretty close, eh?

I didn't see artist when I read your post the first time. Sorry. I do have a copy of a play by him that was bought for me in error when I asked for Whipping Boy for my birthday one year. The person giving my the gift figured I'd like it since I asked for a John Byrne book,

Back in the days before the internet (and therefore could not easily check) I was quite convinced having seen a small black and white newsprint picture of the other JB (who was also bearded) that they were one and the same.

Hmmm, I always thought John Byrne was related to David Byrne (Talking Heads' singer)

From doing a Google search, our favorite John Byrne is the most common result.  It's the only John Byrne we need.
