And I also painfully remember the last time I asked for sources (just a few days ago) and you supplied about the most politically motivated blogs and hack non-news sources available as "proof" under the guise of "I can't do adequate research right now, so here's what's in my browser history".  So, yeah, color me skeptical.

Yes, Thomas, everyone lies.

That doesn't mean that all lies are the same or that they are all of equal weight.

You continue to use this line of reasoning to explain/defuse/deter or otherwise wish away to the cornfield any hint of abuse by your preferred orange-headed leader. "Everyone lies" so "it's all good".  As if the playing field is even and everyone, including Trump, is just doing what they all do.

Wasn't he elected to not do what every swamp person has ever done? That was, correct me if I'm wrong, one of his main pillars.

That's bullshit and you know it.  If you don't?  Well, shame on you.

You also know it is common to lie in the political world so why is Trump so much worse? They all lie.

------

One of my (many) issues with Trump's lies are they are SO. FUCKING. DUMB.

He's like the one loser kid you knew in elementary school who insisted that his dad was close personal friends with Arnold Schwarzeneggar and let him watch TERMINATOR 2 six months early and that he had a birthday last weekend and Van Halen showed up randomly and played a set. He's fucking Chunk from GOONIES. Everything is the best or the smartest or the most something ever. The lies are especially dumb in the internet age, when it takes less than a minute to fact check something.

Hyperbole? Lie? I dunno.  This just yesterday (02/13/2019):

"It’s a big wall. It’s a strong wall, and it’s a wall that people aren’t going through very easy," Trump said. "They're gonna have to be in extremely good shape to get over this one. They would be able to climb Mount Everest a lot easier I think."

What I do know is that it's pure bullshit. I also know that not two weeks ago Trump claimed it wasn't a "wall" at all, equivocating on exactly what it was...but then he said "wall" three times in two sentences.

Anywho...anyone believing the quote above?  Buh-bye.  Can't talk with you.  Must need adults in the room to discuss.

Ah, but Trump's genius is in targeting people who, like himself, lack the ability to discern fact from fiction in the first place - the so-called Dunning-Kruger Effect.

As a demagogue, he had training from the best

Matt, I gave you a reply the next day:

So all you have to do is select anything listed on

it has come out that Google likes to change the

The fact that most Republicans seem unconcerned, let alone suddenly support, the President of the United States unilaterally sending the US military to Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico to seize private land for a government building project is absolutely insane to me, and proves that they stand for nothing ideologically.  They're just rooting for their football team now, and whatever Trump does is great with them.

I think he is playing the left wing media more than anything else.

No, no– Thomas, I'm referring to you. You can't be serious about all this stuff. You're clearly playing a character. No one capable of operating a computer could possibly believe what you do.

Um 75 % of Republicans approve of his speech
83% of indipendants do. I am in that group. So it’s a pretty common
way of thinking.

I see your point, there's nothing to worry about then:

"Berlin, Monday, Aug. 20 -- Eighty-nine and nine-tenths per cent of the German voters endorsed in yesterday's plebiscite Chancellor Hitler's assumption of greater power than has ever been possessed by any other ruler in modern time"
