Digital company INE Entertainment has fired a journalist who publicly
wished for the death of several Covington Catholic High School
students and their parents in a pair of tweets over the weekend. Aside
from his job as a post-production supervisor at INE, Erik Abriss is a
contributor to New York Media’s pop culture site Vulture.

I'd never condone death threats- especially toward children - so this journalist was rightly punished for adding "fuel to the fire" on social media. THAT'S the world we live in.
Regardless, the narrative that these kids were just misunderstood, well-meaning students is false. Remember the death threats the Parkland students received for speaking out about gun violence and the NRA?Hard to feel sorry for a bunch of teens that only know white privilege and were caught on video... but I’ll send my thoughts and prayers.
This drama really pisses me off.
Let's remember, years ago Trump took out full-page advertisements in all 4 of NYC’s major newspapers calling for the Central Park 5, who were all 16 or under, to get the death penalty for a crime they DID NOT commit. The boys spent 6-13 years in jail before their convictions were vacated. Trump never apologized.

I saw a new interview, and also old interviews by the police detectives, with one of those Central Park 5 kids. You could see how the use of false evidence presented to suspects by the police and other methods produces false confessions to crimes a lot more often than not. These 'techniques' have been banned in many places but perhaps in the rush to have no regulations ala neo-Libertariasm on the extreme right includes letting the police use every method known to get a false statement from suspects? Meanwhile in Indiana childhood cancer rates climb where they voted for Trump who would love to help gut your EPA.
If you didn't know what you were doing in voting for someone you honestly perceived to be a successful businessman, you have to know by now. Don't make things worse by digging in further with these con men. One of the few good people he managed to have working with (ha) him was general Mattis and he messed him about too! Total racist and total mess is what Trump is. He only got this one decent man because he loved the stupid roar of approval his rallies gave him when he said the 'mad dog' nickname.. Most veterans would've known what a fraud this man was when he commented on a vet giving him his purple heart "I always wanted one of these". Now that is beyond stupid.
This guy and the kind of creeps mostly hooked up to him are going to go down in history as the definition of self-serving, whining, entitled, totally un-American clowns. Get off the crazy trains and if you say you want real information and news seek out the real thing without the 'entertainment' and Maury Povich drama values. Serbian tv and news took a huge dive just before Slobodan Milosovich started his reign... right now CNN has a second channel that seems to have nothing on it but detailed studies of serial killers and psychopaths, it used to be HLN/Headline News. Put garbage in and you will get garbage out. PBS and NPR are more needed than ever. I hope someone understands. Boring is what you need, personalities are totally out of place, just like kids at political rallies and demonstrations most of the time.
No more sound bites. No more pundits talking about one story for multiple hours while you get at best a tiny ticker at the bottom for the rest of the news. Find newspapers with long histories of excellence and lacking slants and manipulative half truths and support them with the cost of a subscription before more of them are lost, replaced by websites with click-bait headlines and data-miners in place of paying customers. And if you are against name-calling try not to do the same back, if this was easy we'd all be in a much better world now, with a much more highly evolved species. What feels good in the moment is the most transient kind of fix and you will just need another and another and more and more. Stop hating people you have barely or never actually met. Quit thinking someone like Trump knows you when you just saw them playing a part on tv. They were not really in your living room. He doesn't even know normal people who've had to get jobs and keep jobs and pay their own bills, and has never had a beer even. Trump owes a lot of Russians and that is a fact, and if you think that's fine then at least stop mentioning Reagan while empowering the exact opposite of some of the things he stood for.

More scrutiny toward the Covington Catholic school seems to show those boys aren't nearly as wonderful as they are trying to make everyone believe. Their appearance and behavior during basketball games seems to show just how they feel about anyone that isn't white or christian. Seeking the help of RunSwitch PR, a firm in Kentucky, to help with a statement prior to release isn't the behavior of an average high school kid. Nothing illegal about seeking help from a PR firm prior to releasing a public statement, but certainly not the norm.

I found this in the last hour or so through USA Today...
The possible meeting was first reported Tuesday morning by Fox News host Laura Ingraham, who tweeted that Covington Catholic students "threatened by the leftist internet mob" will meet with Trump at the White House as early as Wednesday. However, Ingraham tweeted about an hour later that the White House "seems to be in flux" regarding a meeting with Covington Catholic students who were in Washington, D.C., on Friday for the March for Life. "Announced any meeting would happen after shutdown," Ingraham wrote on Twitter. "Odd as it would be less meaningful if delayed." --- ...so maybe Ingraham thinks she really does dictate terms to Trump now?

Over a year ago we saw cable news shows take note of when they reported something how quickly the WH twitter account would respond. Now we are in a situation where the WH can be manipulated by cable news. I still can't help but think about how vehemently he denied being a puppet, but there seem to be many people that know how to pull his strings..

Did the msm report on the SNL writer offering sexual favors for
violence. Sounds like a new idea for a gang leader, does the same for
her thugs loyalty. I wonder if she was willing to do that for a writing gig.
