I think without the help of Russia who he clearly at least wanted to collude with he might not have even just squeaked in... squeaked in with 3,000,000 fewer votes. Take out facebook and twitter allowing propaganda and phony pretend anti-Hilary news about pizza parlours and dead bodies and how might it have turned out? We'll never know, and might-have-beens are the saddest things. :^(

Hyperbole makes for a weak argument. In what reality is 50% of the US any of those things. People talk too much in absolutes. The left are not saints and the right are not evil. Being white does not make one privileged and being of colour does not make one downtrodden. Being against illegal immigration does not make a person racist. Being a Capitalist does not make you the devil and having socialist ideas does not make you a Communist.
When someone 100% disagrees with a politician no matter what, are they fucked in the head, deluded or brainwashed , as well?
No one is looking for solutions if they will not engage in reasonable discussion with those that disagree. You are not changing anyone's perspective when you surround yourself with those that sympathize with your point of view.
When LeBron James says he would not sit down with Trump but he would with Obama, he does a disservice to those that see him as a leader. It is not Obama that needs to understand LeBron's issues it is the man who has power to effect change. If sitting down together gives even the slightest possibility of change or understanding it is better than not and having 0%.

When LeBron James or someone of his notoriety refuses to even meet with the Manchurian Cantaloupe, I think it is because of the propaganda that would follow. Rump has shown he will twist and misrepresent the truth and even outright lie about such a meeting. I agree that if people in power don't sit down and discuss how to make the world better then no peaceful change will come. But why meet to change the world for the better if the person you intend to meet with is not interested in changing the status quo? The GOP is looking out for the GOP, not the citizens.

Trump is crowing right now about how Maxine Waters and other 'acting-up' type fanatics following her (and tantruming/throwing things when they see a Republican, even a black woman in a restaurant not enacting evil child caging legislation in any way) has handed him a 'yuuuuge' victory in that 13 of 14 candidates he backed 'won' last night. A couple are actually too close to call, but that imbecilic restaurant scene all over youtube and the internet right beforehand can't have helped. :^(
I think Russia is doing a great job in egging both sides of fanatics on, and only one can be the grow-up in the room. Way to blow it so-called Democrats! I think they need to put away the freebie wish-lists and stunts on the left and focus on what is vital right now because the emergency red warning lights have been flashing for awhile now.
Lebron James and Don Lemon are two people I do respect though, and I think the whole working with Trump thing is a loser too, and as said he will try and co-opt and then if unsuccessful all the blame goes to the other person (as usual).

Yes I do understand what the concept of White Privilege is and I purposely did not use that term because I was not referring to privilege in that context. Thank you for telling me what I know and do not know though.
