If you want to go for another SS-H 1, go, but i think that you won't be satisfied with it, cause the idea has already been done.•• I'd disagree. Provided the customer was asking for a re-imagining, and not a recreation (which I would not do, since I didn't draw the original), I think it would be fun to take another crack at SAVAGE SHE-HULK 1, to see what I could do differently this time. Heck, as is so often the case, as soon as I finished yours, I found myself thinking What if I'd done THIS? Or THIS? Or THAT?

JB, I've seen enough of your reimaging to trust that on each time, you can bring something new or interresting. The most famous one is probably "Wolverine in the sewers". ; ) Now, what i said was based on what I understood from Stephen : Then, I was browsing the gallery and saw that he had done one for you, already! My heart was broken! I suppose I could still get one, but I'm extremely jealous! So (and i migth be wrong) he didn't said that he saw it, and it was cool and great, and that he wanted the same (or the same-but-different). That's why I understood that there was an "exclusivity factor" attached to that idea, that each fan can understand. And that's also why i thougth that going for a fresh new idea with the Savage She-Hulk would bring more satisfaction. But then again, - I migth be wrong - I'm not a mind reader - I'm not starting a war in any way - You can't draw too many She-Hulk. - I'll never been tired to watch your S-H commissions. And Stephen's She-Hulk on the beach is a great one !! David

There were a couple of reasons for my gut reaction (although, I absolutely did also think it was cool and great!). The exclusivity played a part, as I wasn't really expecting to see it, already in the gallery. So, when I did, I was taken aback. Certainly, having the only one is a nice carrot to have dangled in front of the face of the collector. Secondly, I thought of the original commissioner, who I didn't realize at that time was David. I wondered if my potential commissioning of another reimagining would devalue your piece to you and make you a little upset. I certainly wouldn't want that, either. So, I appreciate you chiming in with your input, suggestions, and opinions. I'm just glad someone else appreciates She-Hulk as much as I do! JB, I'm glad you wouldn't object to doing another one, if that's what I eventually decide. I've got a bunch of ideas floating around and, as I said, I have a while before I'll have the money to move forward and decide. Even I'm curious to see what I end up with. :)

For future reference, Stephen, the only things that are one-offs are recreations. If something is a reimagining, I will do it multiple times. (Click thru the gallery and see how many variants you can find on Wolverine in the sewer!)

Okay, thanks, JB! Not that I'm interested in any recreations that have already been done but, just out of curiosity, why did you decide to limit recreations to only one?

… just out of curiosity, why did you decide to limit recreations to only one?•• Self defense! There are a lot of covers I know people would ask for over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

BTW, JB, half of the forum and me would like to commission you a recreation of X-men 137. Since you're not busy on Christmas...
