There were only two things of real value I took with me, out of my three(ish) years of Art College. One was classical anatomy, and the other was how to draw circles in perspective.

Even with the classical anatomy course, tho, I still needed to do a lot of "homework". The anatomy course was only one semester, First Year.

One of the really frustrating things about ACA was that they did NOT have any specific instruction in drapery for us Fine Art types. That was considered strictly the province of the Ad Art classes. A little too much realism, perhaps, for a school that, back then, was trying to push all us painters as far away from representational stuff as they could.

Thanks for the compliments.  They're really fun to do.  I intend to do the Demon and some New Gods.  I love Kirby.

My step son is getting married and wants custom MUGGS of he and his fiance for his groomsman's cake.

After that I may take a break.

I'm a graphic designer and illustrator and like switching things up to avoid monotony.

They are all hand-painted which is part of the fun/frustration.  It's really hard to paint precisely on something spherical and small, especially over layers (textures) of other paint.

Of course, it being a little "off" is part of the charm I suppose.

Francis I am digging the heck out of your style.

That Hellboy is really cool, I love the movement that you gave it.

Been a little busy, another dazzler and these (I did 2 Green Lanterns)
I've done a Spider-Man before but I used different costume and non glossy protective coating.
