I posted this Thor in another thread in a group shot
with all my other Thor figs, but this one is an actual custom.
Eric Masterson as Thor.
-circa 1991- I liked the storyline, and the design.

Marvel Legends series 1 Thor but with a load of clay to fill-in
the teeny crotch joint the original figure had.
For the mask I cut a piece of flat plastic from an action figure package.

these next pieces still need to be completed.
They've been on my to-do list for about 5 years.

Battle-damaged Superman work-in-progress from 'Apokolips Now part 2'.
Another example of when I like to use the plastic from packaging.

Batwoman w-i-p from 'Mystery Of The Batwoman' direct to DVD.

Plastic for the cape. Catwoman figure.

Justice Lords Superman.
I didn't like the repaint that Mattel put out because they
didn't re-sculpt the cape to flow from the bicep, as it is
shown in the episode, so I threw some clay on it to look more show accurate.
Now i just have to get around to finishing it some day. :)

One of the only times I've customized a JL figure.

Another one from the box of incomplete tasks.
Animated Batman from an animated style Spawn.
Came out late 2006, still haven't committed to finishing up. Ah well.

As much as I dislike Spawn, I knew I had to buy it because I loved the sulpting and knew it would make a great Batman custom. Love the 'hang' of the cape across the back.

Lots of dremmelling to get rid of all the spikes and crap that
Spawn is famous for. Ugh. That club foot of his gave me a hard time, I had to scuplt a whole new foot from clay. rrr.

Good stuff, Lars -- don't feel bad, we all have a few unfinished work-in-progress pieces lying around.  Thankfully, I'm making progress on this one (slow going, though):

While making progress on that one, I've also started on this -- any guesses as to who it's going to be?

Should be pretty obvious . . . unfortunately, the hard part's still ahead of me!

Geez, John, once you start getting finished pieces up I think I'll stop.  Those are both shaping up to be fantastic.  Your green stuff is so smooth!

Since everybody else is posting WIP pics, I thought I'd share a couple of my current project:

Greg, don't think of your U.J. as having web-lines.  He's just....quilted.
