With most of the post-show work for Mid-Ohio-Con finally behind me, I took some time to scan a bunch of variant program guide cover sketches and update my Comic Art Fans Gallery. I was thrilled with the variant cover concept and the sketches that I got from so many of the creative guests, which range from the sublime to the ridiculous. Check out a few samples below and visit CAF to see them all! Batman by David Finch Human Torch by Ethan Van Sciver Batgirl by Andy Price Army Shanks by Kevin Cannon

Love those Star Trek pages. And the cover sketches are a nice variety. The Cannon one had me laughing for a good long time. It looks like something that could happen at a convention.... Just got my latest addition in the mail today a Mike McKone Teen Titans prelim. Enjoy... Brian

I've finally joined the Art Baltazar sketch crew. Art did a signing today (Saturday) at Westfield Comics and I asked him to draw my favorite comic character, Howard the Duck. I love the result.

In talking with Art, I found we both share a fondness for classic Hanna-Barbera cartoons, so here are Peter Potamus
and Magilla Gorilla.

Nice Baltazar sketches!
Guys, seriously, follow the link and check out James' CAF gallery with all his sketch covers. The ones he posted barely scratches the surface! Cool stuff, James! I think some people around here still owe us their sketch cover scans from MOC...

I just got a Walt Simonson sketchbook with this cool Thor marker sketch in it...
I've always wanted a Thor piece from Walt and now I've got one. :)
