Nice Storm page.  Brings back memories.  I pretty much started with issue 149 of X-Men and stopped around 216 and never really looked back (other than picking up most of JB's run).

Everytime I see Paul Smith X-Men pages it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.  His was my favorite X-run after Claremont/Byrne.

Davis is right up there in my Comics Trio, with JB and Perez.

I've loved Davis for years, but it seems like he never stays on anything for very long (Excalibur excluded).

Fred, the Chris G. piece was picked up at San Diego Comic-Con last month, but he had done that and a number of other pieces for me at his studio before the show.

Fred wrote (on Pelletier and Hulk):
"Honestly, the art has been the only thing keeping me on the book."

So not really worthwhile reading then, I take it.  Too bad.  I prefer to spend my money on narrative.

Fred, if chatting about Rosa has you curious, the commission he did for me is on the top of page 133 of this thread.  (Time flies when you're having fun. :-) )

And this page is getting off to a very text heavy start so, speaking of Alan Davis, here's a pic I snagged during his last sketch sale (or rather his edited scan of it):

I guess this means I need to get a Reed and Sue from somebody at some point. :-)

You and me both Joakim, though this is the exception to the rule. I got my absolute money's worth in picking up the issues and #610 and #611 were actually very enjoyable reads as well.

Nice page, Lloyd. Lots of great images.  Who is the female character standing next to Superman?
