I saw that guy in person and it was a bit surreal.

Here’s some footage of him getting into costume:

I have received my ‘confirm your address’ email for my Haslab Cantina - a
beast of a set.
Based on past it should be with me in the next six weeks.

Anyone interested in buying the HOT TOYS THING FIGURE?

I think this looks amazing!!  It totally reminds me of John's Ben Grimm/THING.  This will be the only Fantastic Four: First Steps figure making its way into my collection.  I love Ben Grimm so much! He's my favourite FF character.

I just re-read my post above... it reads like my grade 4 self wrote it.  I guess the FF just brings me back to the mid 80s.

Shane, we are living in the golden age of some great goddamn toys. It's hard not to get excited. It's a good thing I have some restraint on my fourth grade collection impulses.

I like how that Thing has a removable shirt. Not $300 like, but it totally makes me ponder what action figure I would spend that kind of money on.

Here’s some footage of him getting into costume:

The builder of the suit is actually the other guy who is dressed up who proclaimed Behold Galactus!
He's quite renowned and builds many "BIG" suits. He's also done the Iron Man Hulkbuster that I'm sure everyone has seen along with several big builds used for various mascots and commercial promotions.
I intend on a "Showdown" photoshoot with his Galactus at this years NYCC while in my Dr. Doom. Gifted builder.

As good as that Thing figure above is, I did a quick Photoshop fix on it to make it more in line with what I like about JB's Thing.
