One of the reasons I enjoy these figures so much is the ease with which they can be rearranged. Shuffling them around into new combinations is one of the great simple pleasures of my life.

That's one of the drawbacks to action figures. You try to move one, you inevitably end up with an avalanche. And of course, the lead figures are never going to topple over on their own!

Thanks for the reply JB, strange feeling being able to communicate with someone whose work I have been following for nearly 30 years.

Question for Steve - knowing that Eaglemoss are concerned that resculpts would need a new magazine and considering the content of the magazines, could you ask them if they have any data showing that people would not buy the figures if there was no magazine?

Ray - The figures don't topple over on their own but they don't half fly when a cat walks past them!

Regarding arrangement - I have mine on the plinths, arranged in groups based on their alliegence (X-men, Avengers, Spider-Man etc, good guys and bad guys together). Of course this means I have to re-arrange every couple of months or so when more appropriate sub-groups arrive.

One final thing, Grey Hulk came out this week

two green and yellow figures in the midst of all those other colors.
Makes the Vision look extra lonesome, out on the end of his row.

I have Iron Fist. But he was released with a number much lower than the
Vision's, so he is about three feet away.

Perhaps you missed the point of my post?

I prefer getting mine from my LCS.  Less chance of breakage than having them shipped cross country and I like supporting my shop.  But the figurines he gets in are sporadic, so I get the remaining figurines from Midtown.  UPS Ground usually takes about a week to reach CA.  The wait is half the fun!

Stupid question time - Midtown put most of the second batch I ordered on
back order. Does that mean I'll get them later or I probably won't get them
at all?

I've received stuff that was on "backorder". I think it may be code for "we
don't have it in stock yet".
