@Mark, LOL. I did choose, like, the easiest page going.

I have twenty or more pages in various stages of finish. Once done, I colour them and move on to the next page.

The next nearest to completion is the page before this one, but Paul's version above is so lovely I feel it's almost redundant to post it.

Thank you, Steven! Thanks Darren! Feel free to post all pages! I really like what you did with that last one! You have a really good feel for line weights and the use of zip-a-tone effects were excellent. Marc - Great job! Keeping Byrne looking like Byrne comes through - which is key for an inker

Yes, please post the page, Darren. Paul did a nice job, but it's always nice to see multiple inking takes, just to appreciate the different styles and approaches. I appreciate the way you've leant into a kind of Austinesque line.

Darren, this thread is fun for seeing multiple versions of the same pages. Redundancy is a feature, not a bug!
Plus, I’m really a personal fan of your work. It would bother me a lot if you choose not to post more pages!

Thanks for the encouragement. I have so many half done pages. I'll finish more from this issue and post.

And the Austin-styling is intentional. I prefer John inking his own work but whenever I imagine someone else inking his work, it is always Terry Austin. So when I see pencilled pages of John, my minds-eye overlays what it thinks is a Terry Austin veneer. (My skill doesn't have Terry's experience, so at best it's a poor impersonation) But it is fun:)

Here is what I am contending with. Started and stopped one lunchbreak. LOL. Then instead of continuing, I pick up a new one on the next time I have time for a little fun.

So I really need to finish all of these.

Nice job Darren.  I am a sucker for the half-tones in ink.

Issue 29 page 19. Nobody draws Wolverine as well as John Byrne in my personal opinion
