"At this time"? I don't see a calendar in this piece.

Wow.
Crusher Creel has rarely (if ever) seemed as formidable as he does in this commission!

This is so great! The sheer POWER of this piece is amazing!
Also, wow, your choice of design for the buildings is incredible. Really distinct and eye catching!

Crusher Creel has rarely (if ever) seemed as formidable as he does in this commission!•• The request for this combination of characters presented me with a bit of a challenge. I've not been much impressed with the Absorbing Man* since I first "met" him, lo these many years ago, and I felt like any one of the good guys pictured here could take him down with little effort. So I set up what is basically the last few seconds of a very short fight! ___________________ * Or his kid partner, Absorbing Jr.......

That's how I feel now, but my very first exposure to the Absorbing Man was an issue of THE AVENGERS that ended with him taking on the power of a ship's engines and growing into a red(?) hot giant! As a kid, I was really impressed by the awesome might of that villain. Imagine how disappointed I was when in subsequent appearances Creel never seemed as formidable as he was at the end of that issue of THE AVENGERS.
*It was decades later before I finally read the conclusion of that battle in the next issue.

He could become the METAL of the engine, sure, but to actually turn into a functional engine was WAY beyond "absorbing".

Excellent commission.
Thor is one of my favorite characters. When Lee-Kirby, most especially, presented him in epic adventures -- or looked back to his epic origins in "Tales of Asgard" -- I was beyond thrilled.
But I really do not care for his down-to-earth villains. Thor is powerful enough, at moment of extremity, to hurt and drive off Galactus... but he's challenged by Cobra or the Wrecking Crew? At least the Absorbing Man was empowered by Asgardian magic... and yet... eh.

Looks like the Absorbing Man is about to absorb Thor's hammer, so maybe he'll put up a decent fight for a little while.
