As gratifying as it is to be reminded of the pleasure so many of you derived from comics—including my own—produced under Shooter’s tenure as EiC, I feel I would be remiss if I did not reiterate, at least in part, what I and others have said in this Forum for decades. The work you remember so fondly was in many cases produced in spite of Shooter, not because of him. Use the Forum’s SEARCH function to look up “Shooter” and see for yourselves.
